We are invested in helping children who cannot stay in their natural homes for a variety of reasons. We work with these children to get them "family ready" so they can either return to their natural home or into a new foster/adoption home.
To provide the best, non-institutional, home environment while using evidence-based practices to meet each child's mental, developmental, intellectual and social needs.
It has long been said that it takes a community to raise a child. We are always seeking for those who are invested in our children's future. If you are interested in partnering, volunteering, interning or working with us, feel free to contact us.
Hinge Point Youth Homes and Prosper DDA were founded in 2021
by Craig Anderson, LCSW, Brett Lewis, LCSW and Kim Berger, BCBA.
Kim, Brett, and Craig worked together at the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare for many years. Recognizing the gap in residential care for children of varied functional levels, they decided to create a solution. Combined, they have
over 70 years of clinical experience.
Hinge Point and Prosper are designed to provide a typical childhood experience for children in the foster care system. Here, children live in single family homes, not institutions, with triple the state requirement for staff-to-child ratios. In our homes, children receive mental heath services, medication management and behavioral intervention services. They attend public school and are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities as often as they are able.
Our goal is to help children become "family ready". We are proud of the fact that over 70% of our discharges go back to their natural home or a new foster/adoption home.
